Invite your friends to an afternoon tea and have them all
bring an empty shoe box to cover with pretty paper while you chat and enjoy the fellowship.

The object thereafter is to challenge the children or grandchildren of your friends to fill the box for Christmas so that it can bring joy to a little boy or girl. If you let your children have 5-6 months to do this, you will find that they will really enjoy the challenge – and the joy of doing it.
